Teologický časopis

Teologický časopis [ISSN 1336–3395] is a peer-reviewed journal issued twice a year by the Theological Faculty of Trnava University in Slovakia. In 2012 the scope of the journal has been redefined so that it now serves as a platform for presentation of theological opinions of diverse Christian denominations on a scholarly level. All aspects of theological issues may be covered with aim to promote a dialogue among Christian denominations active in the post-communist countries of the Central Europe. Articles with an offensive content will not be accepted for publication.

Ethical Policies for the Journal

Editors and Reviewers

The editor in chief is responsible for transparency with regard to competing interests during the peer review process. Reviewers may be chosen from all relevant academic institutions with exception of that/those with which the author of the manuscript is affiliated. The editor in chief will also make sure that no more than two thirds of authors who publish in the individual issue of the journal come from the same institution.

The peer review process is confidential. This means that identities of the author are not to be disclosed to reviewers, nor the author is acquainted with the identity of the reviewer.

Neither editors nor reviewers will disclose information about articles under revision without a consent of the author.

Original ideas contained in the reviewing manuscript are not to be used for a personal benefit of the reviewer.

Authors

Manuscripts submitted for publication must result from author’s own research while all other material which is not original to the author must be properly cited.

Articles should contain an objective discussion of the results presented therein as well as a clear statement of their contribution to the most recent scholarly debate.

If the author discovers an error or inaccuracy in the manuscript after its submission, it is his/her responsibility to inform a member of the Editorial Board with whom he/she will consult a solution to the problem.

It should be clearly stated in the submitted manuscript If results presented therein are based on the research enabled by a funded research project. Information should contain the name of the project as well as the identity of the grantor.

No manuscript submitted to the journal can be submitted to another journal or a book at the same time.
